For this particular project I went into my family archive and studied the photographs that were passed on for generations. It was way back when photographs were objects.
I turned the archive upside-down, I turned the photographs and saw bits and pieces of history and family behind the image, turning the object.
The memory of the image was written by hand to remember the owner of the time and people of that particular experience. If you couldn’t decode the who’s and what’s in the image, you turn the photographic object and read the back side.
The project was done for my exam diploma. I made it into a book that holds these memories. You take a look, read and guess the image.
